The full line-up has been announced and tickets are selling fast for the 2012 addition of the Sydney Underground Film Festival. Held at The Factory Theatre in Marrickville over four packed days Sept 6-9, the festival aims to deliver “quality independent films that transgress the status quo and challenge the conservative conventions of filmmaking”.

Opening this year’s festival is the Australian première of the seriously weird Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie – this is a rather unique comedy that you’re either going to totally love or totally hate. The closing night film is God Bless America from alternative film-maker Bobcat Goldthwait (World’s Greatest Dad) – an outrageous dark and satirical commentary on the state of American popular culture and society.

The full programme can be viewed here and information about how to buy tickets can be found here.

Check out the trailer for the opening night film Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie below (note: this trailer is rated R and NSFW!).
