The Boston Society of Film Critics have announced their 2012 award winners, with Zero Dark Thirty picking up best film. Surely the Kathryn Bigelow directed film has to be the front-runner for the Oscar, with three film critics best picture awards now under its belt. Zero Dark Thirty also picked up the best director and best film editing awards.

A surprise but well-deserved win was best supporting actor Ezra Miller for his fantastic performance in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I would love him to get an Oscar nomination – it really is one of the best performances I’ve seen this year.
