Gangster Squad may have one of the worst movie posters in recent memory (see here), but thankfully the trailer shows some promise. After being pushed back some months [due to the need to cut/re-edit some of the shooting scenes], the film is set to be released in Australia on January 10, 2013.
Sean Penn looks like a bad ass, and Gosling…well this site has a ‘post everything Gosling is in’ policy, and I have to say that this was something I was more than happy to post.
What do you think? Is there a potentially good film there, or has the delayed release and cuts made you weary?
Yeah, I don’t know about this one. The delay doesn’t worry me, as it was in no way the film’s fault, but it looks a little too pulpy for me. We shall see.
Low expectations are the way to go I think!
